You might have noticed a new address and look to the blog. I think the new address more accurately reflects what the blog is about since I don't write much about poker anymore (don't really play that much either). I also have been thinking of changing the design for a while since it was starting to look a little dated in my opinion. I'm still with Blogger since it fits my needs and I don't want to have to deal with hosting. Please let me know what you think.

One thing interesting about the picture above is that "readers on Twitter report this sold out in approximately 0 seconds and tickets were a hefty £100. As a second best, they’re also selling the opportunity to watch the gig live streamed online as it happens for £3.99." (Source. Bold emphasis added by me).
I think it is intriguing that you can see a concert live from the comfort of your home. Price seems reasonable and is a way for bands to increase their revenues with little additional investment (other than cameras and an audio feed for the streaming). Will it cause fewer people to attend concerts live? Maybe, sort of the same way many people have given up on attending sports events live due to the added cost and inconvenience of parking, traffic, etc.
