Why I love New England

There has been a little bit of negativity towards living in this region lately, particularly in regards to the weather we are currently experiencing.  One of the hallmarks of a true New Englander is how tough they are, so when did we become such, for lack of a better word, pansies about snow?

Yes, there is a lot of snow, but it will change.  And the fact that it changes is what makes you appreciate the good weather that much more.  I would rather deal with the snow than earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, landslides, floods, volcanoes, or toxic air pollution.  We actually have it pretty good.

Here are some reasons why I love New England in photos:

Fall foliage in Sterling, MA.

The Public Garden on a beautiful spring (yes, Virginia, it does exist) day.

College Hockey at Frozen Fenway.  Even when it is cold, it can be great.
